External Food and Beverage Stall Holders

 

Due to CovidSafe compliance The Yarraville Festival in 2021 will have a reduced footprint and therefore limited stall spaces.
All applications will be considered for these circumstances that fit within the large events gathering under the Covid Safe Guidelines for festivals.

Applications for the 2021 Yarraville Festival are now open. Successful applications will be contacted via email no later than 8th of March 2021.

Apply with the form below! Please register your expressions of interest for participating in the 2021 Yarraville festival by March 1st 2021. Successful applicants will be notified and invoiced accordingly. Allocation of stall spaces will also be sent via email.

Each year, the Yarraville Festival receives more applications to join the festival, and as a result, may not be able to fit everyone in the same place as previous years. Please take note that we do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs, and please respect that allocations made by the festival committee are final.

ALL Vendor applications must have the following compliance documents in place prior to and during the event:
1. CovidSafe Plan- For all vendors which can be found at:
Covid Safe plan

FOOD & BEVERAGE vendors (additional documentation)
2. Food and Beverage suppliers must have a Food Safety Plan

Food Vendors (Hospitality)
At least one member of staff must have completed a Hospitality and Tourism COVID-19 Hygiene Training – And be able to produce certificate

3. Mobile Food Vans and Food Stall Holders have to complete Food Permit

Make sure you have your public liability, and relevant food permits for outdoor service.
Additional Charges:
External Food Vendors not registered as business within Maribyrnong City Council will incur a further $150 fee for Food safety check (Environmental Health officer) imposed by Maribyrnong City Council.

Please note you are required meet minimum standards for marquees which include:
Appropriate weighting on each marquee leg – minimum 40kg (Hire of weights will be available on the at Information Centre.
Food Vendor stalls must have 3 side panels – Left, Right & Back Panels plus appropriate sensitization and washing facilities

Apply for an External Food and Beverage Stall

  • Please enter the registration number for the vehicle you will bring onto the Festival Site
  • The more details the better, so we don't place you near similar stall holders
  • Please provide the most accurate description as possible of your stall. eg. Food truck (include vehicle dimensions), Marquee (include size), etc. PLEASE NOTE: All Temporary food premises must comply with Maribyrnong City Council requirements, including roof cover, safety barriers, sanitation and waste.
  • Due to public liability insurance regulations please inform us of any hazardous activities e.g. naked flame, deep frying oil, hot water, etc.
