Some Highlights from 2021
Making the festival a COVID-Safe event.
We acknowledge the incredible and critical importance of ensuring the health and safety of all attendees and the broader public, and the event will only proceed if there is complete confidence it is safe to do so.
Yarraville Festival is in regular communications with the DHHS (Department of Health and Human Services) and COVID-19 Safety Plans have been prepared in collaboration with the DHHS and relevant authorities.
All our festival is compliant with the directions of DHHS and we can assure you that we are committed to meeting the highest level of health and safety protocols for the duration of your festival experience from arrival to departure
We request you DO NOT attend any event and stay home if you’re unwell or have COVID-19 symptoms including cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, loss of smell or taste, vomiting, diarrhoea or shortness of breath.
Please DO NOT attend the event if you have been overseas in the last 14 days, or have been in close contact with a confirmed case.
Whilst attending Yarraville Festival:
Please seek assistance if you or a friend become unwell during the event and report to the First Aid area. We are here to offer judgement-free help at all times.
Maintaining physical distancing requirements is the responsibility of all attendees and staff at the venue. Please ensure you are standing 1.5m apart at all times and respect others space.
COVID Marshalls will be in attendance to ensure you stay 1.5m apart at all times.
Hand sanitiser stations and hand wash facilities will be made available throughout the site. Please sanitise your hands regularly.
Additional cleaning and sanitising measures including high-touch area cleaning will be carried out regularly.
There will be limited access to shared equipment and any shared equipment will be regularly wiped down with sanitising wipes between uses.
The First Aid will be on-site to assist if anyone is feeling unwell.
Contact tracing will be in place should we need to contact you following the event.
COVID marshalls will be in attendance to assist in ensuring COVID-safe practices are adhered to and people maintain their distance.
If you are feeling unwell at any point leading up to the event, please stay home and do not attend. Full refunds will be available if you are unwell.
